Who Am I?
I was born and raised between Haines, Alaska and Sayulita, Mexico. After graduating high school in Haines, I moved to the lower 48 to improve my snowboarding with access to chairlifts. I quickly realized that I favored the foot powered approach of my childhood. I now spend my summers raft guiding on the Middle Fork of the Salmon River to pay for my winters snowboarding. Most recently based at Mount Baker, spend the first half of the season in the lower 48 to prepare for splitboard adventures in Haines every spring. While lugging cameras around for the last decade I have found my lens pointed at some incredible scenes. Find my snowboarding on Instagram @carverculbeck and my photography here.
